A spray dryer is a device that can simultaneously complete drying and granulation. According to process requirements, the pressure and flow of the feed pump, as well as the size of the spray holes, can be adjusted to obtain spherical particles of the desired size and ratio. It is a continuous atmospheric pressure dryer. Special equipment is used to spray the liquid material into a mist, which then comes into contact with hot air and is dried. This equipment is commonly used to dry heat-sensitive liquids, suspensions, and viscous liquids such as fermentation broth, milk, eggs, tannins, and pharmaceuticals. It is also used for drying fuels, intermediates, soap powder, and inorganic salts, among others.

System Features
- Principle
  
  Air is filtered and heated before entering the air distributor at the top of the dryer. The hot air spirals evenly into the drying chamber. The feed liquid is atomized by a high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower (rotating), spraying into fine mist-like droplets. These droplets come into contact with the hot air and are dried into finished products in a very short time. The finished product is continuously discharged from the bottom of the drying tower and cyclone separator, while waste gas is exhausted by the exhaust fan.
- Performance Characteristics
  
  • Fast Drying Speed: After atomization, the surface area of the feed liquid increases significantly. In the hot air stream, 95%-98% of the moisture can be evaporated instantly. The drying time is just a few seconds, making it especially suitable for heat-sensitive materials.
  • Good Uniformity, Flowability, and Solubility: The product has high purity and quality. The production process is simplified, and operation control is convenient.
  • One-step Drying: Liquid with moisture content of 40%-60% (special materials can reach 90%) can be dried into powder or granular products in a single step. No further crushing or sieving is required after drying, reducing production steps and improving product purity.
  • Adjustable Product Properties: The particle size, bulk density, and moisture content can be adjusted within a certain range by changing operational conditions, making control and management very convenient.

Chemicals: Catalysts, resins, synthetic detergents, oils, ammonium sulfate, dyes, dye intermediates, white carbon black, graphite, ammonium phosphate, etc.
Food: Amino acids and similar compounds, seasonings, proteins, starch, dairy products, coffee extracts, fish meal, meat essence, etc.
Pharmaceuticals: Chinese traditional medicine, pesticides, antibiotics, pharmaceutical granules, etc.
Ceramics: Magnesium oxide, clay, various metal oxides, dolomite, etc.
Spray Granulation: Fertilizers, alumina, ceramic powder, pharmaceuticals, superhard steel, chemical fertilizers, granular detergents, Chinese traditional medicines, etc.
