The spray dryer is a device that can simultaneously complete drying and granulation. According to process requirements, the pressure, flow rate, and nozzle size of the feed pump can be adjusted to obtain spherical particles of a specific size. It is a type of continuous atmospheric dryer. Special equipment sprays the liquid material into a mist, allowing it to contact hot air and be dried. It is commonly used for drying heat-sensitive liquids, suspensions, and viscous liquids, such as fermentation broths, milk, eggs, tannins, and pharmaceuticals. It is also used for drying fuels, intermediates, soap powders, and inorganic salts.

System Features
- How it works
  
  The air is filtered and heated, and then enters the air distributor at the top of the dryer. The hot air enters the drying chamber evenly in a spiral shape. The liquid passes through the high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower body, and (rotates) sprays into extremely fine mist liquid beads, which can be dried into finished products in a very short time by co-flow contact with the hot air. The finished products are continuously output from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, and the exhaust gas is discharged by the induced draft fan.
- Performance characteristics
  
  The drying speed is fast. The surface area of the liquid material is greatly increased after atomization. In the hot air flow, 95%-98% of the water can be evaporated instantly . It only takes a few seconds to complete the drying process. It is especially suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.
  The product has good uniformity, fluidity and solubility, high product purity and good quality. The production process is simplified and the operation and control are convenient. Liquids with a moisture content of 40-60% (up to 90% for special materials) can be dried into powder products at one time. After drying, there is no need for crushing and screening, which reduces production processes and improves product purity. The particle size, bulk density and moisture of the product can be adjusted within a certain range by changing the operating conditions, which is very convenient for control and management.

Chemical industry: catalysts, resins, synthetic washing powder, oils and fats, ammonium sulfate, dyes, dye intermediates, white carbon black, graphite, ammonium phosphate, etc.

Food: amino acids and analogues, seasonings, proteins, starch, dairy products, coffee extracts, fish meal, meat essence, etc.

Pharmaceuticals: Chinese patent medicines, pesticides, antibiotics, medical granules, etc.

Ceramics: magnesium oxide, porcelain clay, various metal oxides, dolomite, etc.

Spray granulation: various fertilizers, alumina, ceramic powder, pharmaceuticals, heavy metal super-hard steel, fertilizers, granular laundry detergent, Chinese patent medicines.
